No overselling, no guesswork — just a Air Conditioning Repair crew that diagnoses it right the first time. Same-day appointments available across Katonah and the surrounding zip codes.
No automated menus for emergencies — a real person handles the call.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. We invest in ongoing training so our techs recognize a failing capacitor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a refrigerant leak before it turns into an emergency.
We're not the biggest name in Katonah — we're the team that shows up in the truck, not a subcontractor we've never met. We carry the credentials Katonah inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Katonah have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Katonah is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Katonah homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Katonah properties actually need.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Katonah dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
Once a technician is on-site, the goal is always a same-visit repair — most emergency calls in Katonah get resolved in a single trip, not a multi-day back-and-forth.
Not every repair call ends in a repair — sometimes the honest recommendation is a properly sized replacement. We walk Katonah homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in Katonah are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services multi-zone commercial buildouts across Katonah, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Property managers working with multiple Katonah locations can set up a standing account so every site gets consistent service history and pricing.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle indoor air quality upgrades for homes with allergy or asthma concerns for Katonah households that want more than just temperature control.
We'll show you photos of anything concerning we find, along with a plain-language explanation of what it means and whether it's urgent.
Guarantees only mean something if a company actually honors them, so here's exactly what ours covers.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
If a competitor's written quote for the same scope of work is genuinely lower, ask us about it.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
Ignoring new noises is one of the fastest ways to turn a small repair into a major one.
If some rooms stay hot or cold no matter what the thermostat says, the system may be struggling to distribute air evenly.
Gradual efficiency loss is easy to miss month to month, but it adds up fast over a season.
Short cycling puts extra wear on the compressor and shortens the system's overall lifespan.
A burning smell should never be ignored — it can indicate an electrical issue that needs immediate attention.
If you're calling about the same problem every few months, the underlying cause likely hasn't been fully addressed.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.
Because our trucks are stationed near Katonah, we're rarely far from your address.
Parts and labor are backed by warranty terms explained in plain language.
Our techs recognize brand-specific quirks instead of learning your system on the job.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. You can tell these guys actually know what they're doing."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. Would recommend to anyone in Katonah needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"Commercial dispatch was quick and the tech understood our system without needing to be walked through it. Now our go-to for every property in the portfolio."
"The estimate matched the final invoice exactly, down to the dollar. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"The tech walked me through what he was checking as he went, which I really appreciated. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
After thousands of service calls across Katonah, a handful of causes show up again and again.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Before the heaviest cooling months hit, it's worth having the refrigerant charge checked, the condenser coils cleaned, and the filter replaced — all of which directly affect how hard the compressor has to work.
Keeping vents unblocked by furniture and rugs helps maintain even airflow throughout the home. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Katonah roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.

More involved repairs, like a coil replacement or a refrigerant leak repair, take longer and the tech will give you a realistic estimate before starting.
For commercial accounts or rental properties, a designated point of contact or property manager can coordinate access instead.
Our technicians are familiar with both, which means less time spent figuring out your specific setup and more time actually fixing the problem.
We also work regularly with homeowners associations, property management companies, and multi-unit buildings throughout Katonah.
A full system replacement is one of the bigger home expenses most people face, and we don't expect everyone to pay it in a single lump sum. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Katonah installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
